LEAF(s) is a sketchbook of graphite rubbings of leaves made, not for the sake of cataloging perfect specimens, nor for identification purposes - but for the pleasurable experience of rubbing graphite on paper and seeing the leaf forms emerge. The process, though fairly mechanical, requires a loose, sustained form of concentration not unlike meditation.
